Ashley Baker

Ashley is from St. George. She recently married her husband, Justin, who is from Canada. Ashley enjoys hair color, creating new styles for clients, manicure & pedicures. When Ashley graduates she would like to find a job in a high end salon. Ashley likes being on the Design Team because she gets to experience things that a lot of hair school students might not be able to. Ashley hopes to get the opportunity to work on a movie set one day. In her spare time Ashley likes to hike, sing, play the piano, play volleyball & spend time with her husband.

Kari Hall

Kari has been attending school for 11 months. She lives in St. George with her husband and 2 kids. Her favorite hobby is running and she is looking forward to running the St. George Marathon this year. Kari's favorite thing to do on clients is haircutting and styling. When she graduates school she would like to work from home in a salon in her house.

Rachel Loo

Rachel is the captain of the Design Team. Rachel moved here with her family from Hawaii. Rachel has been in school for 9 months. Her favorite part about cosmetology school is helping people show their inner beauty on the outside. Rachel loves the Design Team because it helps improve her skills that she is already learning in school. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, watching dance movies and cooking & eating. When Rachel graduates she would like to work in a salon for a few years and eventually work from a salon in her home.

Danielle Lucero

Danielle has been in school for 11 months. She moved here from Mesquite. Danielle's mom is also a hairdresser so she has been in a salon environment since she was a little girl. Danielle's favorite things to do are color and styles. Danielle loves being on the Design Team because being on the Design Team gives her more opportunities to learn. When Danielle graduates school she would like to find a job in a more modern salon setting trends on clients who are willing to try something new.

Jessica Mortensen

Jessica lives in Hurricane with her husband and daughter. She loves cutting hair especially when it's something drastic. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys playing with her daughter and hiking. Jessica has lived all over the United States and is originally from Wisconsin. When she graduates she would like to start out in a chain salon and eventually move up to a full-service salon. Ultimately she would like to have a salon in her home. Jessica chose this profession because she loves making people feel good about themselves and she wants to make a difference in their lives.

Ashley Northrup

Ashley has been in school for 11 months. She moved to St. George from Alaska to attend school. Ashley enjoys cosmetology school because it gives her a chance to meet new people and do what she loves to do. She likes being on the Design Team because it gives her a chance to reach out to the community and go above and beyond to take that extra step to enhance her education. When Ashley graduates she plans on working in a salon in Salt Lake and wants to eventually open her own Spa.

Victoria Sorensen

Victoria recently moved here from Wayne County. She has been in school for 6 months. Victoria loves doing hairstyles on clients. Her favorite thing about being on the Design Team is the chance to interact with people on a more personal level. In her spare time, Victoria enjoys hiking and snowboarding. When she graduates she would like to work in a salon to support herself through college while she's working on her Communications Degree.

Abbie Tolman

Abbie moved here recently from Idaho. She worked as a receptionist at a cosmetology school when she lived there. Abbie has been in school for 6 months. Her favorite things to do on clients are haircuts and colors. One of her favorite things about this profession is having conversations with her clients. Abbie enjoys being on the Design Team because she gets to experience things that not all cosmetology students may get to experience. Abbie would like to work from a salon in her home when she graduates school.
